My practice explores intersections of play, accessibility, and space through performance and installations. Drawing inspiration from childhood memories and the nostalgic elements of everyday life, I instigate stuations which invite people to think about agency in a space. I have a DIY making process, I employ low-tech materials and techniques, exposing the simplicity and accessibility of a creative process.
Central to my work is the use of humor as an open language. I believe that laughter and lightheartedness can create a sense of familiarity and openness, allowing viewers to feel at ease in the spaces I create. Within my installations and interactive environments, I try to provide opportunities for people to actively engage and contribute.
